Bake: 375 degree F.
Time: 8 - 10 minutes
Cream together:
1 cup butter (I use only butter flavor Crisco)
2/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar, tightly packed
1 teas vanilla
2 eggs
Sift and Add to cream mixture:
2-1/4 cups flour
1 teas baking soda
1 teas salt
Fold in with a wooden spoon:
12 oz (2 cups) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Drop by teaspoons onto a floured baking sheet. Bake @ 375 degrees F. for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove to a rack or towel to cool.
