1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon season salt
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
2 teaspoons McCormick applewood and smoke seasoning
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1 bay leaf
Mix together in a gallon plastic bag.
Pat dry pork of choice, chops, steak, or roast. Rub with additional salt and pepper. Place meat in a crockpot. Pour over the sauce. Cook on low 4 to 6 hours.
To cook in the oven, place meat in a heavy roasting pan and pour over the sauce. Cover with the lid. Bake on 325 degrees for 3 to 4 hours or until meat is tender and falls apart easily.
Larger cuts of meat will take 1 to 2 hours longer to cook.
