Watching the Cooking Channel http://www.cookingchanneltv.com/ and the Food Network channel http://www.foodnetwork.com/ always inspires me to create in the kitchen!
Today's Memorial Day menu
Steak on the grill with my new "Goes on Everything Sauce".

Sweet potato and cauliflower from The Spice Goddess show
http://www.cookingchanneltv.com/recipes/cauliflower-with-sweet-potatoes-recipe/index.html - with my own twist of course. I used celery seed and nutmeg instead of the cumin. I'm not a great cumin fan. I did use the rest of the spices though. Also omitted the tomato since they are still growing in the garden.
Grilled brussel sprouts with basil butter on top
Herbed Bread - Some combination of basil butter and other herbs. Grilled to perfection.
Watermelon - Alex knows his watermelon picking at three years old!. It was hilarious to watch him *thunk* the watermelons and declare two perfect ones. He was VERY serious in his endeavor!
Strawberry Cream Pie

Berry Blast - http://dianasrecipebox.blogspot.com/2011/05/berry-blast.html
So the Goes on Everything sacuse went on the bread, the steak, and the brussel sprouts. I can leave the sweet potato/cauliflower medly.
